The program looks to develop the children’s core skills from a number of different sports including: Basketball, Oz-Tag, Soccer, European Handball, Touch Football and Tennis. This is a MUSCLE Sprouts program that is specifically designed to be implemented in schools. |

For children to operate at their optimum they need to develop confidence and competence in a broad range of games and sports skills. Proficiency in fundamental basics opens up the door for children to learn the values associated with sport i.e. stamina, endurance, drive, integrity, ‘sportsmanship’, and, of course, working as a team. All of which will be applied to many situations later in life, beyond the grounds of sport. The Mumble Jumble strand of Muscle Sprouts provides kids the opportunity to learn the basics in order to enjoy sports for physical fitness, socialisation and the rush of achievement.grounds. .
