The New Food Pyramid:
This topic explores our foundational foods (proteins, carbohydrates & fats) from what sources we should be acquiring these foods and in what ratios they should be consumed. There is much confusion around how much of each of these foods showed be in our diets. You will leave with a clear understanding for the role each foundational food plays in our health and just how much you as an individual require.
Fats that heal and fats that kill:
This topic explores everything you need to know about the good, the bad and the down right ugly on fats. Does eating saturated fat cause heart disease True or False? You will leave with a clear understanding for which fats can either support or drastically diminish your attempts to achieve your ideal body weight, balance your hormones, optimize your metabolism, strengthen your immune system and regulate your adrenal glands.
Cholersterol:
The misunderstood nutrient this topic explores the essential role of cholesterol in supporting our health and especially the health of our growing children. The word and its reputation can create enormous unnecessary anxiety and lead to food choices that create greater potential for illness and disease. You will leave with a clear understanding for what cholesterol is responsible for and how to manage and reverse symptoms of high cholesterol naturally.
Food and mood:
This topic explores the effects that different food choices have on our emotions, mental clarity and hormonal balance and how we can stabiles our blood sugar levels , reduce sugar cravings and maintain consistent energy levels. You will leave understanding what foods encourage fatigue, mood swings and cravings and how to eliminate these precursors from your diet.
Allergies and toxins:
This topic explores the accumulative effects that additives, preservatives, colorings and added sugars (even natural) have on our bodies. The food chemicals that contribute to common allergies and food intolerances today and which domestic chemicals used everyday in our homes and for personal hygiene have an accumulative and adverse effect on our health. You will leave with a clear understanding on how to detoxify and cleanse your body, your home and your family!
