After spending roughly three hours strolling up and down the riverside, I managed to collect some freshwater shrimp, which are quite elusive due to their small size and camouflage. Despite a previous attempt to breed them in a pond being thwarted by magpies, I remain hopeful for success this time around, especially since the pond is now overrun with duckweed. However, during my lunch break, while casually kicking a ball around, I experienced a slight twist in my ankle. By the time I reached my car, walking had become exceedingly difficult, hinting at the possibility of a hairline fracture.
