I'm back home now without any fish, I didn't bring my head torch, battery went flat while searching for prawns, though with the prawns i did catch. and within about 1-hour of the outgoing tide I lost Two big fish within the half an hour. One because I was too silly playing with my phone. And The OTHER WOW It TOOK the hook off without a chance for me to even begin winding. In all Tonight was a great night, there were about 6 other people fishing, and the last few times I've been fishing here i caught nothing. Nothing at all (except for the freshwater crayfish)

Ran out of bait so I went prawning, caught another soapie, much smaller though. Even though it would still cover the fry pan it still feels good to let them go. And I know this sounds weird but it either lost its direction or it really lost its fear of me as I gracefully let it swim off it kept coming back to my feet 👣

The guy next to me just caught a carp it’s about 90cm in length it was massive the biggest fresh water fish I’ve ever seen, in a semi salt water river

Just caught a soapie (baby Jew fish) I let it go, though with the hook inside as he/she swallowed the hook.
